Glendalyn Junio is currently the Marketing Manager for the Washington Redskins, overseeing the Redskins’ women’s platform. She joined the team in September 2015.

Prior to joining the Redskins, Glendalyn was the marketing coordinator for CSN. In her role she was responsible for the network’s affiliate relations and social media and on-air marketing efforts, including the promotion of network content, events and contests. She joined the network in March 2010 as communications assistant before being promoted in 2012. Glendalyn also served as a full-time communications intern with the NFL Players Association before her time at CSN.

In addition to her responsibilities at the Redskins, Glendalyn serves as the DC Chapter President of Women in Sports and Events (WISE), a leading voice and resource for professional women in the business of sports and events. The organization regularly hosts events and offers members the opportunity to gain valuable insight and connections through networking and mentoring programs.

Glendalyn graduated with a degree in communications from the University of Hawai’i, where she worked as a sports reporter and editor for the Ka Leo, the school’s student newspaper. During her time as a student, she also served as a clerk with the Honolulu Advertiser’s sports department.

We are looking forward to an exciting in-depth discussion with Glendalyn about her career path and her advice to others seeking a career in sports!
